Rajat Berry
I founded a web business in 1999 and spent eighteen years building it: sites, campaigns, and a team behind them. I sold the business in 2017. What I do now is a smaller, more direct version of the same work, undertaken for a small number of clients at a time.
Before Cross Section
From 1999 to 2017, I ran a web agency: building sites, running campaigns, and managing a growing team through nearly two decades of a business that changed shape more than once. I sold it in 2017, on my own terms, once it was a business worth buying.
Since 2017
Cross Section marks a return to doing the work directly, without the layers a larger agency needs to carry. I take on a small number of clients at a time, remain the single point of contact throughout, and bring in specialists from a bench of eighteen when a project calls for more hands than mine.
The bench
Eighteen specialists, brought in project by project, covering the disciplines a full agency would otherwise keep on staff.
